WHAT ARE MAN-MADE EMFs?
Man-made EMFs (or Electro-Magnetic Fields) are artificial sources of radiation found in your homes and surrounding areas.

WHAT PRODUCES THESE ARTIFICIAL, MAN-MADE EMFs?
We concentrate on four specific types of this artificial radiation:
Magnetic Fields
AC magnetic fields are caused by the flowing of electric current, basically usage of electricity. Common sources of these are above and below-ground power lines, electrical wiring errors, and appliances.

Radio Frequency Fields
These are cause by cellular, wireless devices and their infrastructure. Common sources include cell phone, cell towers, wi-fi routers and wireless tech devices.

Electrical Fields
These are cause by electricity flowing over powerlines and the electrical circuits within homes, too. Common sources of these fields are power lines, electrical wiring and electrical cords.

Dirty Electricity
This is caused by energy efficient lighting sources and tech devices. Common sources of these are LED and CFL light bulbs, dimmer switches and the power supplies of tech devices.

ARE THESE ARTIFICIAL EMFs DANGEROUS TO MYSELF AND MY KIDS?
There’s no smoking gun (as with cigarettes), but more and more studies are coming out showing possible dangerous health effects. The most recent findings of biological risk from man-made EMFs came from a $30 million dollar National Toxicology Program study that showed increased cancer occurrance in mice from exposure to 2G and 3G cell phone RF fields.
